OptiBiotix Health has announced a new collaboration with Tata Chemicals to incorporate Tata's Fossence ingredient into OptiBiotix's popular SlimBiome and LeanBiome products for the Indian market.
Introducing Fossence
Fossence, described as a prebiotic and dietary fiber made from fermented cane sugar, has been approved by Tata Chemicals for use in SlimBiome products in India. This innovative ingredient, known as a short-chain fructo-oligosaccharide, will now replace the existing fructo-oligosaccharide previously used in SlimBiome in other markets.
Combining Strengths for Health Impact
OptiBiotix Health is confident that the incorporation of Fossence into its products will deliver even greater health benefits to Indian consumers. Fossence selectively enhances the growth of beneficial microbiota in the gut, making it an ideal addition to OptiBiotix's weight management solutions.
Tackling India's Weight Management Challenges
With over 135 million obese individuals in India, OptiBiotix Health CEO Stephen O'Hara believes that the collaboration will have a significant impact on addressing the weight management challenges faced by the country. By reducing hunger and food cravings, SlimBiome and LeanBiome, enriched with Fossence and backed by strong science, clinical studies, and positive customer reviews, aim to support individuals in their weight management efforts.
